And when I spoke to the artist when the 2012 version 1st came out and I posted here on chuckyholics. He got offensive with me, quit rude I would say. I just asked why that can't get the shoes accurate, and told him the clothes could have been a little better. He told me the same, keep my money. If I don't like the way he designed the dolls, don't buy it. I even offered to help, i.e. Design the shirts and design the over all patterns on my bamboo drawing pad. He told me no, because he makes chucky the way he pictures him as an artist. (4 weeks ago he told me no) so why a few days ago, he asked me if I had the patterns? WHATEVER!! I'm glad I decided not to get one either. That operation is too small to not have quality control over the finshed product. It should look exaxtley as advertised, the're not comming off an assemblyline. I was a little iffy on this after looking at the older versions and considering the whole made to order aspect. They had cut so many corners initially making it I felt whatever we would be getting would look awful. And when I contacted the owner, he got really defensive about me questioning whether the actual sold version looked like the advertised version. He told me the "clothing material" and "hair" were subject to change and if I didn't like it perhaps I should keep my money. Like i said, maybe i got a bad one. But i asked them to please send a well made one because i was a huge Chucky fan and also, an artist myself and that was excited that it was an Art piece to cherish. Considering this is what they sent me...<br /> anyway...<br /> kidrobot if you do email the artists direct you should let them know... maybe it's been tampered with... or TNG mix matched the body from old version or something. Dunno... But what i got was junk. And i was soooo disapointed cause i was expecting an impresive piece of art. If i was the artist and it was being tampered with to sale more dolls with old parts.... i would want to know. So keep me posted on what they have to say about what i ended up getting.
